- Distinguishing Characteristics Caucasian female. Blonde hair, green/hazel eyes. Fugate Jones has a tattoo of a the outline of a butterfly on her upper back and a tattoo of a flower on her lower back. Her ears are pierced. Her hair is naturally brown, but it was bleached blonde at the time of her disappearance.
- Details of Disappearance:
- Fugate Jones disappeared on May 7, 2015, from Fisty, Kentucky. She’d left a drug rehab center in Harlan and gone to her grandmother’s house to see her two sons. That day, she packed her bags, got a ride with a friend, and later met up with a male acquaintance. She went with him to a strip mine, and then ran off into the woods. No one has seen or heard from her since.
Her family reported her missing a month later, on June 7th. While she’d disappeared before, she always contacted her family. This time was different. Because she was on probation at the time, she’s also considered a runaway (“absconder”). The police still don’t know what happened to her.
