Natasha has a small scar on her forehead, a dog bite scar on her cheek, and a strawberry birthmark on the back of her neck at her hairline. She has fallen arches, or flat feet, and wears special shoes to correct the issue. Her ears are pierced. Natasha’s nicknames are Tasha and Tashia. At the time of her disappearance, her hair was permed.
- Details of Disappearance:
- Little Natasha was last seen sleeping on the couch in her family’s home on Maple Avenue in Jackson, Michigan, on May 7, 1985. Her mom woke up around 1:30 a.m. to a car door slamming outside, went back to sleep, and woke up at 6:00 a.m. to find Natasha missing. A door to their house was open, and Natasha was gone.
No one knows what happened to her. She might have wandered off, or someone might have taken her.
Two days later, her mom’s boyfriend, Robert Forbes, was found dead from a gunshot wound. It was ruled a suicide, but some people think he was murdered. Forbes had a criminal record for drug dealing. Police don’t think his death is connected to Natasha’s disappearance.
Natasha went to a special needs school. She was a sensitive girl who sometimes cried and had mood swings, but she also loved playing with makeup, singing, and playing with purses and shoes.
A big search was done, but Natasha was never found. Sadly, police believe she is dead, but her case is still unsolved.
