Details of Disappearance:
Rich disappeared in late 2018. He was arrested briefly in Pasco, Washington, on December 13th, and released the next day. The last time anyone saw him was on December 15th at his home. That same day, he used his food benefits card at a gas station in Kennewick.

Over the next few months, people worried about him and contacted the police. Police couldn’t find him, but initially thought he might have just left town. A friend said Rich packed his things and might have gone back to Nevada, but that seemed unlikely since he had no car.

His food benefits card continued to be used until September 2019, even though he missed a court date in March. Then, in January 2020, two other people were arrested for fraudulently using his card.

Police now believe Rich was murdered, and they’re searching for his body in the Tri-Cities area of Washington, near several specific locations. So far, they haven’t found his body, and no one has been charged with his murder.
