Details of Disappearance:
On October 17, 2003, Neil Wayne and his son, Neil Alan Eddleman, went fishing with their friend Gary Lisk (61) off the coast of Naples, Florida. They were on Lisk’s boat, a 24-foot white boat called “What’s Left.”

Their plan was to fish near a shipwreck 60 miles away. They left with safety equipment and good weather. The last anyone heard from them was around 7:00 pm when Neil Alan called his girlfriend.

They were expected back on October 18th but never returned. A massive Coast Guard search covering a huge area of the Gulf of Mexico found nothing. Then, on November 3rd, the wrecked boat was found upside down on a beach near Cape Canaveral – hundreds of miles from where they were last heard from. Lisk’s body was found in the wreckage. The medical examiner couldn’t determine the exact cause of death, but foul play was ruled out. However, Lisk’s family suspects something suspicious happened.

Neil Wayne and Neil Alan were never found. Their families believe the boat accident was due to negligence. In 2005, both men were declared legally dead. The mystery of their disappearance remains unsolved.
