Details of Disappearance:
On July 16, 2015, a woman named Coe went home to Middletown, Connecticut after a dentist appointment. Her phone showed she was home until around 8 p.m. that day. She disappeared and hasn’t been seen or heard from since.

Police searched her home on July 29th and found blood on her mattress.

Before she disappeared, in June 2015, Coe got a court order to keep her ex-boyfriend, Gregory Erhardt, away from her. She said she was scared of him because he threatened to kill her. Erhardt has a long criminal record, including past convictions for assault.

After Coe vanished, Erhardt was arrested for breaking the court order. He admitted to contacting Coe and seeing her at a supermarket the week she disappeared. He was later charged with assaulting Coe (stabbing her in the neck with scissors) three weeks before she went missing. The blood on Coe’s mattress was likely from this attack.

Coe had health problems, making her disappearance even more concerning. Although police haven’t officially named Erhardt as a suspect, they think foul play was involved because Coe would never leave without telling anyone.
