- Pippin went missing in Flathead Valley, Montana on August 30, 2010. Two years later, in August 2012, his body was found in a different part of Montana, the Burnt Creek area. We still don’t know exactly how he died, but a big blizzard happened around the time he disappeared, so he might have frozen to death.
