- Noel’s mom, who wasn’t supposed to have her, took her away from their home in Wasilla, Alaska on June 29, 2008. Two years later, in June 2010, Noel and her mom were stopped by police in Missouri. The police noticed something was wrong, and found Noel. Noel was safely returned to her dad in Alaska, and her mom was taken to jail.
