- Shams disappeared in October 1997. He was last seen in Lancaster, California, on the 8th, heading north to California with a friend. He stopped in Palmdale and vanished. No one has heard from him since.
Police believe something bad happened to him. One of the last people to see Shams was Chas Timothy Davis. Davis was arrested for drugs in Los Angeles the following year, and police questioned him about Shams’ disappearance, but he wasn’t charged with anything.
Shams lived in San Diego at the time.
