- Details of Disappearance:
- On August 15, 2019, Michael Nichols stopped at a gas station (Hilger’s) off I-49 North in Rapides Parish, Louisiana. He was driving his black 1997 Ford F-150 truck (license plate Y277458) and heading home to Cotile Lake, Louisiana. He never made it.
About a month later, his truck was found stuck in the mud near a cemetery in a wooded area of Vernon Parish, Louisiana. Police think he was murdered, but his body has never been found, and no one has been arrested. The case is still unsolved.
