Details of Disappearance:
On February 11, 2004, a woman named Thomas finished her job at a restaurant called the Pump-N-Pantry around midnight. She seemed happy when she left. Her boyfriend, Ed, said she came home, asked for a beer (which was in his ATV), and then he went back to sleep. When he woke up an hour later, she was gone.

Thomas disappeared without a trace. Ed says she left on her own, but police suspect something more happened. They’ve investigated, talking to everyone involved, including the person who drove Thomas home from work (he’s not a suspect). There were mysterious notes found during the search, claiming a body was near a supermarket close to her workplace, but nothing was found there.

A friend of Ed’s, Steven Martin, is a person of interest. He claimed to have called Thomas’s house that night and talked to her. Importantly, Martin was also connected to another missing woman, Jennifer Barziloski, who disappeared in 2001. Barziloski’s skull was found years later. While there’s no direct proof linking the cases, Martin was the last person to see both women.

Martin was later involved in a high-speed chase that killed someone. He was jailed, and then died by suicide in prison. He always claimed he was innocent in both disappearances.

The police believe foul play was involved in Thomas’s disappearance, and her case remains unsolved.
