- Mandrell disappeared on October 1, 2013. He was last seen in Clayton, Missouri at 7:30 a.m. He left his house sometime that morning or early afternoon and wasn’t seen again. His family reported him missing later that day at 4:30 p.m. He’d wandered off before and was once found in Alton, Illinois (a short drive from Clayton). Not much is known about what happened to him.
