- On Halloween night, 1990, Matic went with two friends into downtown San Diego. His friends went home to their apartment building, but Matic wanted to go to a nearby Carl’s Jr. That was the last time his friends saw him. Even though some people said they saw him around San Diego in the days after, nobody knows what happened to him. He left everything in his apartment, and the police haven’t solved the mystery of his disappearance. Matic used to be a successful bank executive.
