- Avila was last seen in Brownsville, Texas on May 13, 2017, around 2:40 a.m. Family members dropped her off on East Washington Street. She hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
Avila worked as a sex worker in Brownsville, but always went home afterward. She had her cell phone with her, but it’s been inactive since she disappeared.
