Details of Disappearance:
In April 2014, Hendrix disappeared from Asheville, North Carolina. The last person to see her was Clarence Octetree. They went to Shelby, NC together to look at a mobile home, but Hendrix didn’t like it. Octetree said he drove her back to Asheville, but her mother doubts this. Hendrix never cashed her disability check after that day, and wasn’t reported missing until September.

Octetree is a person of interest because of his violent past. In 2018, he was arrested for kidnapping, raping, and assaulting a woman. He was also charged with trying to scare this woman into not talking to the police. He was convicted of assault and sent to prison.

Interestingly, Octetree’s own wife, Alma, disappeared from Asheville in 2012. Police have questioned him about her disappearance, too.

Hendrix’s family believes she’s likely dead, but her case is still unsolved. A picture of Clarence Octetree is available.
