Details of Disappearance:: On June 11, 2002, Hernandez fell off a fishing boat eight miles from shore near Fort Bragg, California. He was working with fishing gear when this happened. The other people on the boat tried to save him, but he went underwater and they couldn’t find him. A big search was done, but his body was never found. Everyone believes he drowned.
