- Details of Disappearance:
- On May 24, 1980, Rex Hill, his dad Larry, and two others, Laddie and Toni Schiess, went missing on Palisades Reservoir in Idaho. Their small aluminum boat flipped over in rough weather, about 100 yards from the shore. The water was very cold (51 degrees) and extremely deep (120 feet). While four people in the boat were saved, Rex, Larry, Laddie, and Toni disappeared and were never found. It’s believed they drowned.
