- Details of Disappearance:
- James disappeared from St. Louis, Missouri on October 29, 2011. He was with his six and seven-year-old children when he met a woman named Shanunikia Pierce. They stayed at Pierce’s apartment for a couple of days, but then James left with someone in a car and vanished. Pierce then lied to the children, saying she was taking them to their father, but instead abandoned them in an empty house in Granite City, Illinois.
James’s family never saw or heard from him again. They didn’t know Pierce. Although Pierce disappeared for a while after this, she was later found and charged with abandoning the children.
James’s family believes something bad happened to him because he was a loving father who would never leave his kids. He had full custody of them and was a church-going, hard-working nursing home employee who didn’t drink or use drugs.
The police don’t know exactly what happened to James, and his case is still unsolved.
