- Distinguishing Characteristics Hispanic male. Black hair, brown eyes. Estrada has scars on his chest, right finger and right arm, and a tattoo on his left hand. He may use the alias first names Richardo, Ricardo, Tony, Antonio, and/or Joe, and the alias last name Perez. His date of birth is either February 18 or February 19, 1962.
- Details of Disappearance:
- Ricardo Estrada disappeared in May 2000. He was last seen leaving his job at the Hibiscus Golf Club in Naples, Florida. He never came back to work and didn’t pick up his paycheck. His car, a blue 1990 Oldsmobile Toronado (license plate D70AZ), was also gone. His family says he wouldn’t have just lent his car to someone.
Estrada was close to his family and visited them every weekend. He was a good worker with no history of drug, alcohol, or gambling problems. Three days after he vanished, his house burned down. Police aren’t sure if the fire is connected to his disappearance.
Because of a family misunderstanding, the police weren’t notified until almost two months later, on June 29th. Estrada is unmarried and has a grown son in Texas. Police think something suspicious happened and that he didn’t disappear on his own. The case is still unsolved.
