Details of Disappearance:: Richard was taken away from his home in LaGrange, Indiana by his grandparents on July 29, 1994. They didn’t have legal permission to take him. Eighteen years later, in January 2013, he was found safe and healthy in Minnesota. He’d been living there under a different name. His grandparents were found living nearby. Richard, who’s now married and expecting a baby, told the police he knew what was happening and said his grandparents had been good to him.
