Details of Disappearance:: Sammons disappeared in Mesa, Arizona. The last time anyone saw him was January 11, 1983. His parents didn’t know he was missing until three days later, when his fiancée called asking where he was. His apartment was tidy, and all his stuff – car, clothes, money, even his checkbook – was still there. Nothing looked like a crime had happened. Not much is known about what happened to him.
