- Four siblings – Rivka, Rachel, Yechezkel, and Yekusiel – were taken from their home in Calabasas, California, by their mom, Segalit McRoberts, on August 20, 2012. She didn’t have legal custody of them.
Eight years later, in November 2020, the children were found safe in Idaho. Their mom was arrested.
Because the two younger siblings, Yechezkel and Yekusiel, were still children (17 and 15), they were put into protective care while their dad worked to get them back. Rivka and Rachel were grown up by then, so they weren’t placed in the care of child protective services.
