He has a surgical scar on his abdomen and a sixteen-inch surgical scar along his spine. He wears eyeglasses, and he has the following tattoos: a girl on his upper left arm and the words “LIVE TO RIDE” on his upper right arm.
Details of Disappearance:: Befort, a mechanic and musician, disappeared from Silver Springs, Nevada on July 21, 2000. He left a note saying he was sick and hinting at his own death. His green 1969 Chevrolet Corvette (license plate 655KHU) was also gone and later reported stolen; it’s never been found. Someone may have seen him at a pawn shop in Fallon, Nevada, around March 2001, but that’s unconfirmed. Police think Befort was murdered, and they have a suspect who lives in another state, but haven’t revealed their name. The case is still a mystery.
