- Details of Disappearance:
- Robert and Dagmar Linton, a retired couple from California, vanished on August 22, 1986. They were traveling to Canada for an expo and stopped at a campground in Washington state. They left their camper and went on a day trip, but never came back.
Their truck was found abandoned at the Seattle-Tacoma airport, with blood and hair inside. Police think they were murdered by Charles Sinclair, a serial killer who robbed and killed about 13 people. Sinclair used the Lintons’ credit cards after they disappeared, and some of the items he bought were found at his place. Although he was a prime suspect, Sinclair died in 1990 before he could be charged with their murder. Robert and Dagmar’s bodies have never been found.
