- Details of Disappearance:
- On June 5, 1997, at 9 pm, David Weems walked away from his home on Julian Street in Florence, Alabama and vanished. He had no ID or money with him. Someone may have seen him two days later walking near Cox Creek Parkway, but it’s not certain. Before he disappeared, Weems went to a Christian boarding school in Asheville, North Carolina. His roommate said he became very religious in his final year and had a mental health crisis. The police still haven’t figured out what happened to him.
