- Details of Disappearance:
- On May 21, 2008, in Coburg, Oregon, three friends went rafting on the Willamette River. Their rafts flipped over in cold (48-degree) water. Two friends made it to safety, but Winters didn’t. He wasn’t wearing a life jacket and disappeared underwater. His body was never recovered, so it’s believed he drowned.
