- Details of Disappearance:
- In early July 2017, a woman named Hughes disappeared from Bowling Green, Kentucky. She’d borrowed her mom’s car because hers was being repaired; two men were with her when she got it. Her mom tried calling her several times, but only reached her on July 8th. Hughes said she’d return the car soon and was trying to get her boyfriend, Ismael Beltran, to leave her house, but wouldn’t explain further.
Her mom found the car returned on July 9th. On July 11th, her family went to her house because they couldn’t contact her. The house was dark except for the TV. Her keys were there, but her dogs were left alone (unusual for her), and her bedroom door was locked from the inside. They forced it open, but there were no signs of a fight.
Hughes has never disappeared before. Beltran hasn’t been seen since July 8th; his ex-wife was the last to see him, and he said he needed to leave town because he was out of work. No one knows what happened to Hughes or Beltran.
