- Details of Disappearance:
- Rodney and Karen disappeared in Oregon in 1977. They were last seen in Albany on May 24th, planning to hitchhike to California. After calling a friend from Lebanon, Oregon, Karen said they had a ride and hung up. They vanished.
Later that year, some of their belongings—including Karen’s cut-up jeans, parts of her journal, and a blouse she made—were found near a logging road. Police think something bad happened to them.
Rodney wasn’t officially reported missing until 2012, but the case remains a mystery with few clues.
