- Texera disappeared in December 2005. He lived in Berkeley, California, and was last in contact with his family on December 1st via email. He went to Oroville to help a friend move, but they argued, and Texera walked away into some trees. Nobody has seen or heard from him since.
His mom reported him missing three weeks later, after his caseworker noticed he hadn’t started a new job. His family thinks something bad happened to him because they don’t think he’d leave his girlfriend and child. The police don’t suspect foul play, though, and the friend he was with isn’t a suspect. The mystery of what happened to Texera remains unsolved.
