Details of Disappearance:: Jung disappeared on September 25, 2005, in Everett, Washington. He was a skilled mountain climber who liked to hike in the Cascade Mountains, often without telling anyone his plans. He vanished completely, and a big search found nothing. His red Jeep Cherokee (license plate 421PDV) is also missing. Jung had a good life – he grew up in Kirkland, had college degrees, but was a private person. His family says he was happy and had no reason to disappear. The mystery of what happened to him remains unsolved.
