Details of Disappearance:: In December 1978, a man named Packer disappeared. He left his home in Tempe, Arizona, on December 5th, saying he was going on a long vacation, maybe to the Pacific Northwest. His car was found abandoned, unlocked with the keys inside, near Payson, Arizona, on December 12th. He never told anyone exactly where he was going, and his parents didn’t even realize he was missing until February. Because of the way his car was left, police think something suspicious happened to him, but his disappearance remains a mystery.
