Details of Disappearance:

In July 1986, a grandfather, Himebrook, and his grandson, Richard, vanished from their Arizona home. They were last seen in Avra Valley on July 7th and reported missing a few days later. It was unusual because they left behind all their belongings, and Himebrook never disappeared without telling his daughter.

Two months later, Himebrook’s truck was found abandoned in the desert. There was no sign of him or Richard.

Police think Richard’s mother’s boyfriend might be responsible. He had argued with Himebrook and was reportedly abusive to Richard, his sister, and his mother. Richard had run away from home and was living with his grandfather.

Sadly, Himebrook and Richard have never been found, and the case remains a mystery.
