- Norman vanished in Detroit on December 8, 1991. Four months later, his body was found in Lake Erie. He had drowned. It wasn’t until February 2011 that they figured out who he was. Police think he either fell or was pushed into the Detroit River, and the river’s current carried him into Lake Erie.
