- On August 23, 1998, in Koblerville on the Northern Mariana Islands, Camacho got into an argument with her husband and went to her sister’s place. That night, she borrowed her sister’s car and drove away. She disappeared and was never seen or heard from again.
The next day, her car was found at a golf course. Her shoes were nearby, on a cliff about 50 feet away. Police said there were signs of a fight, but they haven’t shared details. The mystery of what happened to Camacho remains unsolved.
