Details of Disappearance:
Pleasant disappeared in Spokane, Washington around September 29th or October 1st, 1992. She was last seen at a convenience store. She worked as a prostitute and used drugs, and a friend of hers had been murdered a few months earlier. A week before disappearing, she told her brother she feared for her safety and planned to leave town with some of her children.

Pleasant’s daughter, Valiree, disappeared in October 1999. Valiree’s father, Brad, was Pleasant’s abusive ex-boyfriend. He had custody of Valiree, and Pleasant only had supervised visits. Valiree disappeared from her grandparents’ home, and police found her body buried after tracking Brad’s truck. Brad was convicted of murdering Valiree in 2000 and sentenced to 56 years in prison.

Brad is a suspect in Pleasant’s disappearance. He was the last person to see her, refused to help police, and Pleasant’s brother said she was afraid of him. Because Brad worked in construction, her brother suspects Brad may have hidden Pleasant’s body in a building.

Pleasant’s case was reopened after Valiree’s murder, but no charges have been filed in Pleasant’s disappearance. It remains unsolved.
