- Details of Disappearance:
- On May 4, 1991, a woman named Martin was last seen leaving a bar called the Fairbanks Inn in Orlando, Florida, around 9:30 PM. She’d been playing pool with a man and left with him. She vanished and was reported missing two days later by a friend who noticed she didn’t go to work.
Police have a sketch of the man she left with. He was around 40-45 years old, about 6’2″ tall (in cowboy boots), and weighed 200 pounds. He had brown hair with gray in it, a beard and mustache, a broken nose, bad teeth, and a tattoo on his arm. He drove a black Kenworth big rig (semi-truck) from 1988, with a sleeping compartment and a wind spoiler. The trailer might have been silver or white and looked old. He was thought to be from Texas and wore cowboy boots, a black cowboy hat, an armadillo pin, and a thick belt with a large buckle.
This man hasn’t been identified, and while he’s not considered a suspect, police want to talk to him. Martin’s family and the police think something bad happened to her, as she disappeared without warning and left all her things at home – things she wouldn’t normally do. The case is still unsolved.
