- Details of Disappearance:
- On May 18, 1993, 22-year-old Tavakol left his mom’s house in Northridge, California, around 8:15 PM. He was going to a party with friends but never showed up. No one has heard from him since.
Three days later, his car—a 1987 Nissan Sentra—was found abandoned in a Ralph’s supermarket parking lot in Sherman Oaks. He wasn’t there.
Before he disappeared, Tavakol had spent a $70,000 inheritance and was about to start a new job at a bank. Police think something bad happened to him, but the case is still unsolved. He lived in Sherman Oaks and went to Pierce College.
