- Details of Disappearance:
- On March 28, 2018, Sperry disappeared in Graves County, Kentucky. She and her boyfriend, Rhen Hendrickson, argued. Hendrickson took Sperry’s car home; Sperry left with Hendrickson’s father, Dusty Holder, on a four-wheeler.
Holder claims they got lost in the woods, their four-wheeler got stuck, and they ran out of gas. They walked out the next morning, separating near Highway 131 and 849. Holder went to a store; Sperry said she was going to a cousin’s. She never arrived at work and was never seen again.
That evening, Hendrickson tried to kill himself. The next day, police searched for Sperry and Hendrickson. Sperry’s car was found abandoned; only one set of footprints was found near Holder’s four-wheeler, contradicting his story. Police found Holder’s phones burned.
Hendrickson reappeared days later, sick and needing help. He said he lost his and Sperry’s belongings in the woods, but they were never found. Both Holder and Hendrickson passed lie detector tests, but Sperry’s sister doubts the “lost in the woods” story. Police found blood in Sperry’s home and car.
Because the evidence is inconsistent and suspicious, Sperry’s family believes she was harmed. The case remains unsolved.
