Her right ear two or three times in the lobe. She has a mole on the right side of her neck near her collarbone. Sarah swings her arms when she walks. She wore a size 9 shoe in 2001, and had acne. She may have grown taller since her disappearance. She may also have dyed her hair another color, possibly brown, and/or cut it short.
Details of Disappearance:
Sarah disappeared on May 1, 2001, from Greenville, Texas. She was dropped off at school that morning but never went to class. She’d planned to skip school with friends, but they said she never showed up. Police dogs followed her scent near the school, but lost it quickly.

A witness saw Sarah in a light blue Ford truck that afternoon, driven by a man in his 30s. Sarah didn’t seem distressed. Another witness claimed to see her later at a phone booth in a nearby town.

Sarah’s 18-year-old boyfriend, Curtis, was arrested a week later for having a sexual relationship with her (she was underage). They had been dating for two months, and Sarah’s diary showed she wanted to run away with him to Mexico. Curtis admitted they talked about running away, but said it wasn’t serious. Sarah left without extra clothes or belongings, leading police to believe she may have left willingly.

However, several of Sarah’s friends failed lie detector tests, and nobody knows where she is. Possible sightings occurred in Oregon in 2004 and British Columbia later that year. If she was seen then, she’d cut and dyed her hair.

The case remains unsolved, officially classified as a runaway, despite the many unanswered questions.
