Details of Disappearance:
A man named Sartain disappeared in Arlington, Texas, on September 6, 2007. Because he was homeless, often traveled, and sometimes disappeared for long periods, nobody reported him missing until January 2008.

Four months after his disappearance, someone told police Sartain might be dead. Kelly Munn and Alejandro Orona were then charged with his murder.

Witnesses said they saw Munn and Orona beat and tie up Sartain in a room behind a garage. Scared, the witnesses left. One returned later, smelled rotting flesh, and saw Munn and Orona cleaning up. They reportedly admitted to cutting up Sartain’s body and getting rid of it, as well as destroying his car and selling the parts for scrap.

Police think Munn and Orona killed Sartain because he forged a check that got someone else arrested. Even though their lawyers said there was no body, Munn and Orona were found guilty. Orona got life in prison, and Munn got 99 years. The case is considered a murder because of the evidence against Munn and Orona.
