- Distinguishing Characteristics Caucasian male. Black hair, blue eyes. Shirk has a tattoo of the Fox motorcycle gear logo across his upper chest, just below his collarbone.
- Details of Disappearance:
- Shirk disappeared in Flathead County, Montana on February 2, 2015, and hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
Four months later, police arrested two men for stealing a truck. One of them claimed to be Shirk and showed a driver’s license with Shirk’s name. But this man was actually Jeffrey Schubauer, from Alaska, and much older than Shirk. Schubauer had a long criminal record, including theft and assault, and was already wanted in Alaska.
It’s unknown if Schubauer’s pretending to be Shirk is related to Shirk’s disappearance. Shirk, who was born in California and graduated high school in 2009, worked as a welder. His disappearance is still a mystery.
