Details of Disappearance:
Scott Coville and Jane Limm met in college in the mid-1980s. They married in 1987 and moved to Alaska. Their relationship was stormy, with frequent fights.

Coville disappeared on his 26th birthday, April 12, 1988. His family hadn’t heard from him for weeks beforehand. His mother received a Mother’s Day card signed by Jane, but Coville’s phone was disconnected, and his friends hadn’t seen him since mid-April. Limm didn’t report his disappearance.

Years later, police reopened the case. They found Scott’s blood in his Alaska home. Limm confessed to killing him in a phone call and later to investigators. She admitted shooting him in his sleep, dismembering his body, and disposing of it in the trash.

In 2010, Limm pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and was sentenced to 55 years in prison (with 19 years suspended). She claimed she killed him because he was abusive. Scott’s body has never been found.
