- Details of Disappearance:
- Hayes disappeared in January 1996. He was last seen in Stafford, California, on the 8th, telling his roommate he was driving to Southern California to see his girlfriend. He took everything he owned in his maroon Chevrolet Sonoma truck. The next day, his truck was discovered abandoned, locked, and out of gas on Highway 101 near Redcrest, California. All his stuff was still in the truck.
