- Mr. Dockstader vanished from his Los Angeles home on October 22, 2003, just before a neighborhood fire forced everyone to leave. He left behind notes suggesting he might have taken his own life because he was depressed. A year later, in December 2004, his lower jawbone with some teeth was found near Running Springs School Road. More bone pieces were discovered nearby. Police are still trying to figure out exactly what happened to him.
