Details of Disappearance:

In April 2001, Shaina and Sausha Henson left Portland, Oregon, with their mom, Kimyala, to go to Canada. They were traveling with Kimyala’s friend, Christina Mayer, and a man Mayer called her husband, “Curtis.” However, “Curtis” was actually Frank Oehring, a dangerous fugitive from Missouri who was wanted for trying to kill his ex-wife and was reportedly involved in a satanic group. Mayer was allegedly also part of this group.

The group stopped in California; Kimyala got her birth certificate in Sacramento (possibly tricked into it by Mayer and Oehring). They stayed in Redding that night. After this, Shaina and Sausha disappeared.

Later, Oehring and Mayer were found dead in Florida – a murder-suicide. Oehring’s letters showed they planned to steal Kimyala’s identity. Kimyala’s body was found in Nevada; she had been murdered. A bloody hatchet in their car had Kimyala’s blood on it, but not the girls’.

Motel records show Oehring and Mayer were alone in Florida. The girls’ car seats and birth certificates are missing. No one knows what happened to Shaina and Sausha – it’s still an unsolved mystery. The police aren’t sure if Oehring and Mayer hurt the girls or sold them.
