Details of Disappearance:
On October 12, 2007, Morris disappeared after leaving her home in Palm Springs, California, to meet a friend, Sean Mihajson, in Palm Desert. She was driving a rented burgundy Chevrolet Trailblazer. Because she never returned and this was unusual for her, police investigated.

The police soon suspected foul play. They found Morris’s car and evidence suggesting a crime. Sean, his twin sister Vanesa, and their father, Victor, became suspects.

Sean was arrested and charged with Morris’s murder. Vanesa was also arrested and initially charged with murder, but that charge was later dropped. However, she was convicted of being an accessory after the fact because she helped Sean get rid of the body. Victor was charged with helping Sean hide after the crime.

Investigators believed Morris was killed during a drug deal gone wrong. She was going to buy marijuana from Sean, but he killed her and stole her money. Sean was convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison. Morris’s body has never been found.
