Details of Disappearance:: On October 9, 2008, Matthews disappeared from her home in Columbus, Mississippi. Nobody has seen or heard from her since. Her boyfriend was the last to see her, but police don’t think he did anything wrong. She left behind a son with a disability, who is now being cared for by his grandmother. Matthews was on probation, but she was following the rules until she vanished. Because she stopped reporting to her probation officer, there’s now a warrant out for her arrest. It’s very unusual for her to disappear without telling anyone and to leave her son. The police haven’t been able to solve her case.
