- On September 8, 2006, in Jacksonville, Florida, a woman named Johnson went to a nearby convenience store (McDuff Food Mart) to buy a cigar. She told her mom she’d be right back, but she never returned. Her phone’s been off ever since, which is unusual for her.
Three days later, on September 11th, her family reported her missing. She had no known problems, no enemies, and no history of mental health issues. It was completely out of character for her to disappear.
At first, police didn’t think anything bad happened, but because so much time has passed, they’re now looking into the possibility that something did. Johnson was unemployed at the time. The case is still a mystery.
