- A woman named Main vanished from her home in Pemberville, Ohio on August 17, 2006. Her husband last saw her at 2:30 AM. When he woke up at 6:30 AM, she was gone, and so was his tan Chevrolet Blazer.
Later that day, around 4:30 PM, someone saw a blonde woman acting strangely in a broken-down tan Blazer in Oregon, Ohio. The woman wouldn’t accept help and walked away. Police couldn’t find her. The Blazer was Main’s husband’s car; he got it towed home.
Main was never seen again. She left her purse and cell phone at home, and there were no signs of a break-in. She’d visited the LaGrange Street area of Toledo before, and while she’d disappeared briefly in the past, she always contacted her family. This time, she didn’t, and her disappearance remains a mystery.
