- Song disappeared from her home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware on June 8, 1975. She left her passport and other important things behind, and no one has seen or heard from her since. Police think something bad happened to her.
Song was from South Korea and had moved to the US the previous year with her husband, Alton Joseph, who was in the military. They were having problems. Alton had a history of trouble with the law, including a conviction for carrying explosives illegally and he even stole a large amount of explosives while in the military.
Song didn’t have a car and there’s no sign she went back to Korea. Before she vanished, she told friends she was being followed by a man who spoke Korean.
The police have looked into two possible suspects, but no one has ever been charged with her disappearance. The case is still unsolved.
