- Distinguishing Characteristics Caucasian male. Brown hair, blue eyes. Bunch had a hair replacement at age nineteen, in order to conceal hair loss. He has a dent-like scar or dimple in his right cheek.
- Details of Disappearance:
- On December 28, 1985, David Bunch went to a nightclub in Cincinnati. He left around 2 a.m., but his rental car battery was dead (his own car was wrecked by a friend). A female friend gave him a ride home. He seemed scared during the ride, worried about a police car following them.
He arrived home, briefly went to his room, then told his mom he was leaving again. His dad found his behavior strange and watched him go into the backyard. That was the last time anyone saw him.
His scarf was later found near his house. His rental car was found a few blocks from the nightclub. Bunch owned a car repair shop. He’d recently testified in court, leading to rumors he’d entered witness protection, but that’s never been proven. The mystery of his disappearance remains unsolved.
